The Basics
What is Ritus?
Ritus is a daily ritual app. Each day, you enter a single word — something you want to hold — and then hold it with a four-second press. That's the ritual. Ritus also tracks where you are in the natural cycles of time: lunar phases, seasonal thresholds, and turning points in the year.
What is a threshold?
Thresholds are the natural turning points woven into every month and year — new moons, full moons, solstices, equinoxes. Ritus surfaces these as context, not as tasks. A quiet reminder that you are somewhere in time, not just moving through it.
Why only one word?
Because one word is enough. Ritus is not a journaling app, a productivity tool, or a meditation tracker. It's a small, intentional practice. The constraint is the point.
Premium
What does Ritus Premium include?
Premium unlocks the full Deep Time history — past thresholds and deeper cycles — complete archive access beyond the most recent entries, and the Year Reflection view, which surfaces patterns across months. A 7-day free trial is available for both plans.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Ritus, go to the Premium screen, and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to originally subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Ritus, and cancel from there. You'll retain access until the end of the current billing period.
Privacy & Data
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your device. Ritus does not require an account, does not sync to the cloud, and does not collect personal data. Your words are yours.
What happens if I delete the app?
Your ritual entries will be lost, as they are stored locally on your device. Your subscription remains active and can be restored if you reinstall Ritus using the same Apple ID.
